15-ാം നെഹ്രുകപ്പ് ഫുട്ബോൾ, 2012 ആഗസ്ത് 22ന് ന്യൂഡൽഹി ജവഹർലാൽ നെഹ്രു സ്റ്റേഡിയത്തിൽ അരങ്ങേറി. ഉദ്ഘാടനമത്സരത്തിൽ, നിലവിലെ ജേതാക്കളായ ഇന്ത്യ, സിറിയയെ തോൽപ്പിച്ചു. സപ്തംബർ രണ്ടിന് നടന്ന ഫൈനലിൽ കാമറൂണിനെ തോൽപ്പിച്ച് ഇന്ത്യ ഹാട്രിക്ക് കിരീടം നേടി. സുനിൽ ഛേത്രി ടൂർണമെന്റിലെ താരവും റഹീം നബി ഫൈനലിലെ താരവുമായി.[1] അഞ്ച് ടീമുകളാണ് ടൂർണമെന്റിൽ പങ്കെടുത്തത്. കാമറൂൺ, നേപ്പാൾ, മാലി ദ്വീപ് എന്നിവയാണ് മറ്റു ടീമുകൾ.
