ആഷ്മോർ കാർട്ടിയർ ദ്വീപുകൾ
മനുഷ്യവാസമില്ലാത്തതും ഭൂമദ്ധ്യരേഖാപ്രദേശത്തുള്ളതും അധികം ഉയരമില്ലാത്തതുമായ രണ്ട് ദ്വീപുകളുടെ സമൂഹത്തെയാണ് ടെറിട്ടറി ഓഫ് ദി ആഷ്മോർ ആൻഡ് കാർട്ടിയർ ഐലന്റ്സ് എന്നു വിളിക്കുന്നത്. ഇന്ത്യൻ മഹാസമുദ്രത്തിലുള്ള ഇത് ഓസ്ട്രേലിയയുടെ ഒരു ബാഹ്യപ്രവിശ്യയാണ്. ഓസ്ട്രേലിയയുടെ വടക്കുപടിഞ്ഞാറായി ഇന്തോനേഷ്യയുടെ റോട്ട് ദ്വീപിന് തെക്കായി കോണ്ടിനെറ്റൽ ഷെൽഫിനടുത്തായാണ് ഈ ദ്വീപിന്റെ സ്ഥാനം.
