ഒരു ഓസ്‌ട്രേലിയൻ മെഡിക്കൽ ഡോക്ടറായിരുന്നു ഗ്രേസ് കത്ത്‌ബെർട്ട്-ബ്രൗൺ MBE (ജനുവരി 2, 1900 - ഡിസംബർ 17, 1988). അമ്മമാരുടെയും ശിശുക്കളുടെയും ആരോഗ്യം മെച്ചപ്പെടുത്തുന്നതിലും അതിന്റെ ഫലമായി ഓസ്‌ട്രേലിയയിൽ മാതൃ-ശിശു മരണങ്ങൾ കുറഞ്ഞിരുന്നു. 1937 മുതൽ 1964 വരെ ന്യൂ സൗത്ത് വെയിൽസ് പബ്ലിക് ഹെൽത്ത് ഡിപ്പാർട്ട്‌മെന്റിൽ മാതൃ ശിശുക്ഷേമ ഡയറക്ടറായിരുന്നു. ഈ സമയത്ത് ശിശുമരണനിരക്ക് ആയിരം ജനനങ്ങളിൽ 40 മുതൽ 20 വരെയായി കുറഞ്ഞു.[1]

1951 ഫെബ്രുവരി 15-ന്, 71 വയസ്സുള്ള പ്രസവചികിത്സകനും ഗൈനക്കോളജിസ്റ്റുമായ എമിരിറ്റസ് പ്രൊഫസർ ഫ്രാൻസിസ് ജെയിംസ് ബ്രൗണിനെ കത്ത്ബെർട്ട് വിവാഹം കഴിച്ചു.[1][3] സ്കോട്ട്ലൻഡിലെ ക്രൗൺ കോർട്ട് നാഷണൽ ചർച്ച്, കോവന്റ് ഗാർഡനിൽ വച്ചായിരുന്നു വിവാഹം.[3] അവരുടെ സന്തോഷകരമായ ദാമ്പത്യം 1963-ൽ അദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ മരണം വരെ നീണ്ടുനിന്നു.[1]

തുറമുറയിലെ നോർത്ത്‌വെൻ റിട്ടയർമെന്റ് വില്ലേജിൽ താമസിച്ചിരുന്ന കുത്ത്‌ബെർട്ട് 1988 ഡിസംബർ 17-ന് അവിടെ വച്ച് മരിച്ചു.[4]
