ചിന്താമൻ വിനായക് വൈദ്യ

ചരിത്രകാരനും പ്രാചീനഭാരതത്തിലെ പുരാണങ്ങളെയും സ്ഥലനാമങ്ങളെയും കുറിച്ച് പഠനങ്ങൾ നടത്തിയിട്ടുള്ള മറാഠി പണ്ഡിതനായിരുന്നു ചിന്താമൻ വിനായക് വൈദ്യ എന്ന സി. വി. വൈദ്യ(1861 മഹാരാഷ്ട്ര–1938). ഗ്വാളിയർ നാട്ടിരാജ്യത്തിലെ മുഖ്യന്യായാധിപനായും അദ്ദേഹം പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിട്ടുണ്ട്.ബാലഗംഗാധരതിലക് നേതൃത്വം കൊടുത്ത രാഷ്ട്രീയപാർട്ടിയിലും അദ്ദേഹം അംഗമായിരുന്നു.പൂനയിൽ വച്ചു നടന്ന ഭാരത് ഇതിഹാസ് സംശോധക്മണ്ഡൽ എന്ന സമ്മേളനത്തിന്റെ അദ്ധ്യക്ഷനുമായിരുന്നു വൈദ്യ.
