ഒരു ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് പുരോഹിതനും എഴുത്തുകാരനും ആണ് ജോൺ പാപ്വർത്ത് (ജനനം 12 ഡിസംബർ 1921) പൊതുപ്രവർത്തനത്തിലുമേർപ്പെട്ടിരുന്ന ജോൺ നേരെ വമ്പൻപൊതു ,സ്വകാര്യ സംഘടനകളെ നിരന്തരം എതിർത്തുപോരുകയും താരതമ്യേന ചെറുകിട സംരംഭങ്ങളുടെ വക്താവുമായിരുന്നു..^[1]
