2008-ലെ ഒളിമ്പിക്സിനു വേണ്ടി പക്ഷിക്കൂടിന്റെ മാതൃകയിൽ ബെയ്ജിങ്ങിലെ ഒളിമ്പിക് ഗ്രീനിൽ നിർമ്മിച്ച ഒരു സ്റ്റേഡിയം ആണ് ബെയ്‌ജിംഗ്‌ നാഷനൽ സ്റ്റേഡിയം അല്ലെങ്കിൽ നാഷണനൽ സ്റ്റേഡിയം[1]. 2008 മാർച്ച്[2] മാസം ആണ് ഇതിന്റെ പണി പൂർത്തിയായത്. 2008-ലെ വേനൽക്കാല ഒളിമ്പിക്സിലെ പ്രധാന മത്സരങ്ങൾ നടക്കുന്നത് ഈ സ്റ്റേഡിയത്തിലാണ്‌. അതുപോലെ 2008 ഒളിമ്പിക്സിന്റെ ഉദ്ഘാടന മത്സരങ്ങളും,സമാപന ചടങ്ങുകളും നടക്കുന്നതും ഈ സ്റ്റേഡിയത്തിലാണ്‌.
