മൌറീൻ ഡാലി (ജീവിതകാലം: മാർച്ച് 15, 1921 – സെപ്റ്റംബർ 25, 2006), ഒരു അയർലണ്ടിൽ ജനിച്ച അമേരിക്കൻ എഴുത്തുകാരിയാണ്. അവർ 1942 ൽ കൌമാരപ്രായത്തിലെഴുതിയ Seventeenth Summer എന്ന നോവലിൻറെ പേരിലാണ് അവർ കൂടുതൽ അറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്. ഈ നോവൽ മുതിർന്നവരെ ഉദ്ദേശിച്ചെഴുതിയതായിരുന്നു. ഈ നോവൽ ഒരു സമകാലിക കൌമാരപ്രണയകഥയായിരുന്നു നോവലിൻറെ ഇതിവൃത്തം. കൌമാരക്കാരായ ഒരു വലിയ കൂട്ടം വായനക്കാരെ ഈ നോവൽ ആകർഷിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിരുന്നു. 16 വയസിൽ മൌറീൻ ഡാലി ഒരു അവാർഡിനർഹമായ ചെറുകഥ"സിൿസ്റ്റീൻ" എന്ന പേരിലെഴുതിയിരുന്നു. "സെവൻറീൻത് സമ്മർ" എന്ന ആദ്യ നോവലിനു ശേഷം നീണ്ട 44 വർഷങ്ങൾ മറ്റു നോവലുകളൊന്നും എഴിതിയിരുന്നില്ല. എന്നാൽ 1940 കൾ മുതൽ 1990 കളിൽ വരെയുള്ള കാലത്ത് ചിക്കാഗെ ട്രിബ്യൂൺ, ലേഡീസ് ഹോം ജേർണൽ, ദ സാറ്റർഡേ ഈവനിംഗ് പോസ്റ്റ്, ദ ഡെസേർട്ട് സൺ തുടങ്ങിയ പത്രസ്ഥാപനങ്ങളിൽ പത്രപ്രവർത്തകയായുള്ള ജോലി തുടർന്നിരുന്നതോടൊപ്പം ഒരു സ്വതന്ത്ര പത്രപ്രവർത്തകായായും പ്രവർത്തിച്ചിരുന്നു.
