കേരളത്തിൽ കാണപ്പെടുന്ന കടുവത്തുമ്പി കുടുംബത്തിൽ ഉള്ള ഒരു ചെറിയ കല്ലൻതുമ്പിയിനമാണ് കടുവാച്ചിന്നൻ (ശാസ്ത്രീയനാമം: Microgomphus souteri). പശ്ചിമഘട്ടത്തിലെ കാട്ടരുവികളിൽ മാത്രമേ ഇവയെ കണ്ടിട്ടുള്ളൂ. കുറുവാലിൻറെ പ്രത്യേക ആകൃതികൊണ്ടു ഇവയെ പെട്ടെന്നു തിരിച്ചറിയാം[1][2][3][4][5][6][7].
