യൂറോപ്യൻ ഗോൾഡൻ ഷൂ
യൂറോപ്യൻ ഫുട്ബോൾ ലീഗ് മത്സരങ്ങളിൽ ടോപ് സ്കോർ കരസ്ഥമാക്കിയ കളിക്കാരണ് നൽകുന്ന ബഹുമതി ആണ് യൂറോപ്യൻ ഗോൾഡൻ ഷൂ. ഫുട്ബോൾ ബൂട്ടിന്റെ ഒരു ശില്പമാണ് ട്രോഫിയായി നൽകുന്നത്. 1967-68 മുതൽ ആണ് ഈ അവാർഡ് നല്കിവരുന്നത്. ഫ്രഞ്ചിൽ സോവിയർ ഡി ഓർ എന്ന പേരിൽ ആണ് ഇത് ശരിക്കും അറിയപ്പെടുന്നത്. ഇതിന്റെ വിവർത്തനം ഗോൾഡൻ ഷൂ അഥവാ ബൂട്ട് എന്നാണ്. 1996-97 സീസൺ മുതൽ യൂറോപ്യൻ സ്പോർട്സ് മീഡിയയാണ് ഈ ബഹുമതി നൽകുന്നത്. ലയണൽ മെസ്സിയാണ് അഞ്ച് തവണ ഈ അവാർഡ് കരസ്ഥമാക്കി മുന്നിൽ നിൽക്കുന്നത്.[1]

- ↑ Original 1986–87 season winner Rodion Cămătaru (with 44 goals) was disqualified later and the trophy was awarded to Polster in 1990. However, Camataru was allowed to keep his copy of the trophy.[2]
- ↑ Darko Pančev got his prize for 1990–91 season later, only in 2006,[3] following a protest from Cyprus where a player supposedly scored 40 goals (though the official topscorers for the season, Suad Beširević and Panayiotis Xiourouppas, are listed with 19 goals each). Due to this affair, France Football decided to make the competition unofficial.[2]
